When chatting with Kate on the phone, I wanted to learn as much as possible about her business and what her goals were. From there, we made our plan:

• We rented this adorable Air B’n’B in Lancaster. Obviously we chose one with beautiful light, and THAT KITCHEN!
• I made a tentative “set list” of shots we would aim to achieve and a “What to Bring” list for her.
• We discussed the outfits that would be best suited for this shoot.
• I also wanted to create professional headshot and “planning” photographs for her to be able to use in an “About Me” section, and for other sections of her website that may not necessarily be about food (in her case, we included a laptop and notebook for note taking!)

Photo day for a Branding Session will vary. We spent a few hours together, and I photographed Kate in her happy place - preparing healthy food. My goal is to make your business photos feel less awkward (because as we all know, being in front of the camera can be WEIRD!) We won’t be just client and photographer at a shoot - we will be friends just chit-chatting the day away. After a while, you’ll barely notice that I even have my camera in hand!

Kate has had such success in only three months of being in business, she has even had to hire on her own employees to keep up with her growth.
